WhatsApp's new feature will keep you from being embarrassed in group chats
WhatsApp will soon be getting a new feature that will help you avoid the embarrassment of accidentally sending a message to the wrong group. As WABetaInfo reported, the new option will let you set custom backgrounds for each of your chats, so you can immediately see which group or individual contact you're talking to. The new feature will also let you choose different backgrounds for different system themes, so you can have one custom layout to use for light mode and another for dark mode. If that's not enough, you can even adjust the brightness of your cat wallpapers, allowing you to easily dim your chosen pattern or image to disappear into the background. and don't get distracted from your discussions.

Coming soon (hopefully)

Custom backgrounds for individual chats are not yet available for testing, even for beta users, but are expected to roll out in the coming months. The new option may come along with the ability to use a single WhatsApp account across multiple devices, a long-awaited feature that will make life much easier for anyone with more than one phone.
