Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 Lite Leak Render Shows Upcoming iPad Rival In Full
We expect the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 Lite to be announced soon; the leaks suggest that it is a mid-range version of the Galaxy Tab S7 and a successor to the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite. The mention of the S6 device is particularly relevant, as we've just seen leaked renders of the Tab S7 Lite, and that has a lot in common with last year's model. These images are from Evan Blass, who has an excellent leak record. Apparently, these are promotional images of the tablet, from Samsung itself, but there is also information about the internal components of the board. According to Blass, the tablet will have the mid-range Snapdragon 750G chipset, which we also saw in the TCL 20 Pro 5G and Samsung Galaxy A52 5G. It's a pretty good processor for mid-priced devices, although it's not as powerful as the chipset in the Galaxy Tab S7. Samsung's non-premium tablets have traditionally had fairly low processing power, and for the S7 Lite to compete with the entry-level iPad, it needs a power boost.

< p lang="en" dir="ltr">Here's its best look yet on the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 Lite (5G): https://t.co/8RwRKwBiJT pic.twitter.com/dxT36ExgS4 April 15 2021 Learn More Front-facing images of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 Lite show a slate with rather thick bezels and a repositioned camera that now sits along one long edge of the screen. The rendering of the rear shows another change from the Tab S6 Lite, as there are two rear cameras instead of just one. We don't know what this secondary snapper is, but it's most likely a depth sensor or ultra-wide camera. So the design is a bit less unique than the Galaxy Tab S7, but this is to be expected given this tablet's position in the family. And considering its design and internal components, the S7 Lite could be a lot more powerful than the weak S6 Lite, which is a good thing in our books. We don't know when the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 Lite will be announced (there's a Samsung event on April 28, but it may not be for tablets), but stay tuned for all the latest news and rumours.
