Canadian company OVHcloud has announced the launch of its new line of Premier private cloud hosting products, designed for large enterprises seeking performance, security, and isolation for their data. The web hosting company was also recently named "Outstanding" in Forrester's recent "Hosted Private Cloud North America 2020 Wave" report. With 10 years of experience in the hosted private cloud, OVHcloud provides companies with a robust, scalable and highly automated infrastructure that meets business requirements to operate critical environments and run intensive workloads. The Group also offers a wide range of certifications for the financial and healthcare sectors. OVHcloud's new generation of Private Hosted Cloud is the result of close collaboration with its technology partners as it integrates multiple hardware and software divisions.
Premier Hosted Private Cloud
OVHcloud's Hosted Private Cloud Premier product line will be available to customers around the world. The new product line includes a broader range of seven standard hosts, complemented by three new hyper-converged host SKUs that are based on VMware vSAN technology and range from 48GB to 768GB of RAM. Storage capacity has also been increased and NFS data stores of up to 36TB will be available and customers will be able to store their data in one of seven OVHcloud data centers around the world. The new Premier product line also provides access to public and private networks of up to 25 Gbps to improve application performance. Premier customers will have access to a full suite of VMware software including vCenter, vSphere version 6.7, vSAN and NSX. At the same time, Hosted Private Cloud Premier integrates Vmware's vRealize Operations block at no additional cost for easy access to infrastructure monitoring and capacity planning. OVHcloud CEO Michel Paulin provided further details on the company's new Hosted Private Cloud range in a press release, saying: “This launch paves the way for a new era of hosted private cloud, as well as diversification of virtualization solutions.
