OnePlus previously announced that it has partnered with CD Projekt Red to bring a OnePlus 8T Cyberpunk 2077 Edition, which will now launch in its home country of China. Gaming has dominated the position this year, and it looks like OnePlus wants to jump on the bandwagon. Before that, OnePlus had traditionally partnered with British manufacturer McLaren to bring its design cues to smartphones. It seems to have turned things around this year and went with Cyberpunk 2077, which has been one of the most anticipated games not only this year, but for a few years now. The smartphone launch was probably timed to make sure it wasn't too far from the game's launch, which was scheduled for November 19. But the developers recently announced that Cyberpunk 2077 is delayed until December 10.

(Image credit: OnePlus) The OnePlus 8T Cyberpunk 2077 Edition features a unique design that brings back the elements we've seen in all of the Cyberpunk 2077 promotional material. This includes bright yellow highlights on the phone and a CMF design. The OnePlus 8T Cyberpunk 2077 Edition consists of three parts on the back panel, the upper part in the middle and the lower part. The top or rear camera module is a panoramic window and is inscribed “2077”. The central part has a Snow AG glass finish with the OnePlus logo. And the bottom has forged Cyberpunk 2077 etched carbon fiber texture. Software-wise, the smartphone will feature Wu Shi Band logo live wallpaper from the game with vivid neon colors and light effect notification. The fingerprint unlock animation is the same as the artificial eye scan in the game. It also comes with a personalized luminous cell phone case. Spec-wise, they are similar to the top variant of the OnePlus 8T. It has a 6.55-inch 1080 x 2400 120Hz AMOLED display with 402 pixels per inch. In terms of cameras, it has a 48MP f/1.7 main snapper with optical image stabilization (OIS), plus a 16MP f/2.2 ultra-wide, 5MP macro, and 2MP monochrome camera. The OnePlus 8T Cyberpunk 2077 Edition packs a 4500mAh battery with 65W super fast charging. It is powered by the Snapdragon 865 chipset and has 12GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It runs Android 11 out of the box. It was priced at CNY 3,999 (Rs 45,000 approx) in China and will be available for sale in China from November 11. There are no details on global availability.
