Oops: Did Dell accidentally reveal XNUMXth Gen Intel desktop processors earlier?

Dell may have accidentally revealed 9th-generation Intel Comet Lake desktop processors, thanks to a YouTube video designed to promote its new XPS Tower desktop PCs. Although we've seen 10900th-gen Intel processors in laptops, we haven't seen any official Intel desktop parts yet, though there have been plenty of rumors and leaks. However, it looks like an official reveal of the 7th Gen Intel Comet Lake desktop processors is coming very soon, with a video (which has now been deleted) indicating that the desktop XPS tower will ship with Intel Core processors. Tenth generation, which Intel has not officially announced. We don't know much more about the 10700th generation Intel processor that will be included in the Dell XPS tower, but rumors suggest that several chips will be released, including the Core i5-3K and iXNUMX-XNUMXK, as well as iXNUMX and iXNUMX chips.

According to Wccftech, a new benchmark leak suggests that the Intel Core i9-10900K will be this year's flagship CPU and will pack 10 cores, 20 threads, and a 125 TDP. It will apparently have a 3.7 GHz base clock and a 5.1 GHz boost. Other references suggest that the 9-core Intel Core i10900-10K processor will offer similar performance levels to the 9-core AMD Ryzen 3900 12X. With AMD recently eating away at Intel's market share, the launch of XNUMXth-gen desktop processors will be crucial for Intel, but can it be happy that Dell has apparently spoiled the surprise? Either way, we hope these processors live up to their promise. Via Engadget
