Noise Cancellation: The Best New Tech Podcast?

Well, it's kind of exciting. We're launching a podcast... well actually, we've launched one because it's already there. Noise Canceling will be your favorite weekly podcast spanning the world of technology, bringing you (hopefully) an entertaining new look at all the news, reviews and features we write here every week. Our new podcast will not only be made up of the best writers on this site. With me, Gareth Beavis (Global Editor of TheComparison) will be Sherri L. Smith (Editor of Laptop Mag), as well as regular guests from Tom's Guide and other brands, as we recruit the best names in the suite of future publishing technology sites (our mother company).

First week: expensive wheels

In this inaugural episode, we welcome special guest James Peckham, Phones Editor at TechRadar, to explain why Apple might be forced to pay £25 to select iPhone users, as well as give us his take on the launch of the range. S20 will be a success. There's also the question of whether you should have a $400 wheel lock (we're looking at you, Apple Mac Pro) and we find out which laptop has set a new benchmark for battery life in the Laptop Mag labs. . There's also a question of whether VR will really go mainstream, an overview of cloud gaming, and the key point: Does Sherri know how much a wheel costs? All this and more in the new Noise Canceling podcast: subscribe to Spotify, get it on Apple podcasts, or find us wherever you get your pods.
