Come to the point

Moto G60 price and availability

Motorola unveiled the specs for the Moto G60 on April 20, saying it would ship a week later on April 27 to India (and Mexico) for Rs 17.999, which works out to around $240/€175/ AU€310. At the same time, it announced that the Moto G40 Fusion would retail on May 1 for Rs 13,999-15,999 depending on the configuration (around €185 - €215 / €135 - €155 / AU€240 - AU€ 275). We do not have an official announcement of the launch date or the price of the Moto G60 outside of India and Mexico. Design and display

The Moto G60 measures 169,6 x 75,9 x 9,8mm and weighs 225g. These dimensions exceed those of the Moto G100 (168,4 x 74 x 9,7mm, 207g), which we describe in our hands-on review as gruesa y pesada '' y the one we struggle to hold comfortably. a hand. ''In other words, get ready for a rugged two-handed phone that's ideal for split-screen applications and watching videos. You'll have to look elsewhere for a small phone. In addition to the standard power button and USB-C charging port, you'll see a 3,5mm headphone jack on the top, a fingerprint sensor on the back, a 1TB SD card slot on the top left and a dedicated Google Assistant button on the right side. . The phone itself is plastic and doesn't have an IP rating, although Moto claims it's 'water repellent'. The Moto G60's display matches the leaked specs we learned last month: it has a 6.8-inch LCD panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10 certification, and a Full HD+ display with a 1080 x 2460 resolution and 396 ppi. You won't get the color gamut and contrast that you would with an AMOLED display, but its high refresh rate will help it handle fast-paced games and apps very well. Many other Moto GX0 phones are stuck at 90Hz and 720p, making the G60 a significant visual upgrade. Meanwhile, the Moto G40 Fusion has the same screen size and resolution, weight and features, plus nearly the same dimensions, except it's 0.1mm thinner.

Cameras and battery life

The Moto G60 has a triple-lens rear camera with a 108MP main sensor, an 8MP 118-degree ultrawide sensor, which doubles as an 8MP macro camera with 4X zoom, a depth sensor, and a selfie camera. 32MP within a punch-hole notch. For video, you can record in 4K up to 120 fps or 1080p up to 240 fps. For comparison, the Moto G100 has 64MP, 16MP ultrawide and 16MP main selfie sensors, while the Moto G30 has 64MP, 8MP ultrawide and 13MP main selfie sensors. Testing these two phones, we were impressed with the main cameras for their brightness and level of detail, while the selfie cameras disappointed with blurry shots. Since the Moto G60 is expected to have the same updated photography software and hardware, we expect it to perform even better with its main camera and alleviate some of the selfie woes of its sibling phones. If you get the Moto G40 Fusion, you'll fall back on a 64MP main camera, but otherwise you'll get the same camera specs. The Moto G60 and Moto G40 Fusion have a 6.000 mAh battery. Most other Moto G 2021 phones have a 5,000mAh battery, giving you decent extra battery life with these models. They are also compatible with USB-C fast charging.

Performance and software

The Moto G60 runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G chipset, an octa-core processor clocked at 2,3 GHz. It is specially designed for mid-range gaming smartphones. You'll only have one Moto G60 configuration to choose from: 128GB of storage and 6GB of RAM. With the G40 Fusion, you can get the same setup or upgrade to a 64GB storage / 4GB RAM model. You get Android 11 out of the box with the Moto G60 (and G40 Fusion). They use LTE cellular and therefore cannot take advantage of 5G networks like the Moto G50.
