It's unclear if Halo fans in the UK, India, Australia, or other international countries will be able to watch the trailer on TV at the same time. However, we're expecting the latest trailer for the show to drop on YouTube on the heels of its TV debut, so Halo fans should check it out one way or another.

According to a report from Deadline in February 2021, the Halo TV series will premiere sometime in the first quarter of 2022. If that release window hasn't changed, it may mean that the TV adaptation of the FPS franchise will be with us from here. April 1. 2022.

Set during the war between man and the covenant in the 26th century, the Halo TV show will follow John-117/Master Chief (Pablo Schreiber) and his AI partner Cortana (Jen Taylor) as they seek to end the universal alien threat. . However, this will not be canon for the game series. Instead, the Halo TV series will be set in the "Silver Timeline" of the franchise, according to Kiki Wolfkill, head of Transmedia at 343 Industries (per Halopedia).

Developed by Paramount Television and Amblin Television, in association with 343 Industries, the current developer of the Halo game series, the Halo television show will launch exclusively on Paramount Plus in the United States.

At this time, there is no official confirmation on where non-US Halo fans will be able to watch the TV adaptation. Since Paramount Plus is currently only available in the United States, Latin America, and Scandinavia, most Halo fans around the world are concerned that the show will not be released in most international markets.

However, die-hard Halo fans shouldn't worry about the TV show not being released in their country, though. In February 2021, Wolfkill said that "no Spartan will be left behind" when asked if the TV series would be released in the UK (and, by representation, international markets).

So when could the Halo TV show reach the shores of Britain, India, Australia and other countries? And where will it be available to view?

Well, according to the Midgard Times, an Indian publication, the 10-episode TV series will premiere on Netflix or Amazon Prime Video in different territories.

While that statement should be taken with a grain of salt for now, it would make sense from a casting standpoint. Currently, Prime Video subscribers in the UK, India and Australia have access to many exclusive movies and TV shows from Paramount Plus. This includes most (if not all) of the Star Trek, iCarly, Rugrats, and The Twilight Zone movies and TV series. Other Paramount Plus exclusives such as RuPaul's Drag Race are also available to stream on Netflix UK.

However, the Halo TV show is more likely to be released in international markets on Paramount Plus. The streaming platform is now available in Australia, while The Hollywood Reporter has claimed that the service will launch in the UK, in partnership with Sky, sometime in 2022. Unfortunately, no India launch date has been planned. at the time of writing this article.

For fans in the UK and Australia at least, we suspect the Halo TV show will be released exclusively on Paramount Plus. The streaming platform needs a heavy hitter to attract new subscribers to compete with Netflix, Prime Video, Disney Plus and more. So it's in its interest to keep its original shows in-house to entice new users to sign up, especially if Paramount Plus launches in the UK and mainland Europe in time for the TV adaptation's release.

Expect the Halo TV series to be distributed by Prime Video in India and other countries that don't have a confirmed release date or window for Paramount Plus. However, for Australians, Brits, and other major Europeans, we'd be surprised if it doesn't launch on Paramount Plus.
