Oppo has launched the Oppo Reno series of phones which is an innovative solution to the pop-up camera placement problem on a phone. At the launch ceremony in Zurich, Oppo announced the creation of three phones: Oppo Reno, Oppo Reno 5G, and Oppo Reno 10x Zoom. The Oppo Reno 5G is a 5G-enabled version of the Oppo Reno 10x Zoom (yes, that's its name), which is Oppo Reno's unique base pendant. It's unclear when the phones will be released in the United States. UK or Australia at this stage as release dates are currently only available for a few different European countries. The Oppo Reno will be available from May in some countries and will cost €499 (approximately €560, €430, AU$795). The Oppo Reno 10x Zoom will launch in June at €799 (about $895, £690, A$1), though its release date is unknown. The Oppo Reno 270G will be available for sale in Switzerland from May, but it is not known if it will be available elsewhere, and the price is €5 (about €899, €1000, AU780). €). What is Reno up to now? The unique feature of the phones is the 'shark fin' pop-up camera, which houses the front facing camera and speaker. This opens in less than a second and has a built-in feature that recognizes if you drop your phone so it can power off.
