EA finally adds crossplay support to one of its titles, but surprisingly, it's Need for Speed: Heat, a game that's been largely overlooked and isn't exactly known for it's online multiplayer. The Need for Speed: Heat update, coming on June 9, will work just as you'd expect: players will be able to compete, either on PC via Origin and Steam, or play the game on PS4 and Xbox One. This should go a long way. to increase the game's longevity, but it's nonetheless an interesting choice from EA, especially considering the sheer number of online multiplayer titles the publisher has at its disposal. With that in mind, here are five EA games that really need crossplay support.
FIFA 20 coins

There's no competitive advantage to be gained by playing on PC or console (most PC gamers tend to use a controller anyway), and it's a game that would greatly benefit everyone. play together, regardless of the platform chosen to purchase the game.

Yes, PC gamers will still have a competitive edge when it comes to first-person shooters, largely due to the laser-like precision of a mouse. But honestly, unless you're determined to climb the ladder and become some sort of pro, most of us just want to play with our friends online. Add the option to disable crossplay and everyone will be happy.
