While the Lego Black Friday deals won't start for a few weeks, we've seen live early bird discounts at some retailers, and this is the standard price for brick discounts: around 15% to 20% on some sets. However, someone missed this memo, and if you read the title or previous copy of this article, you probably know who it is. Zavvi hosts plenty of pre-Black Friday Lego deals, which you can find below, and is also positioning itself as one to watch during the event.
What's great about Zavvi's current offerings
There are two reasons why Zavvi's current offerings are pretty impressive. First and foremost, the retailer has dropped a wider range of games than we normally see. If you look long enough at Lego deals, you'll often find the same sets going down on a regular basis. The Fast and Furious Dom Dodge Charger, Harry Potter Privet Drive, and Star Wars X-Wing and Tie Fighter kits get discounts pretty much all the time. You have to be lucky to find other discounted sets though, and that's what's amazing about Zavvi's offering. We've never seen the Ninjago, Adidas Shoe, and Heavy-Duty Tow Truck outfits scaled down before. So Zavvi is proving its worth with an interesting array of kits on sale, but the reduced price is also impressive. As we said, deals are often capped at 20% off Lego sets, with a few rare exceptions, but Zavvi's discounts are confidently higher.
