YouTube makes Black Voices Fund available in South Africa

YouTube is not only the birthplace of free music videos and gaming vloggers, but also aims to help users raise the bar by funding creators and producing great content for the site. The Black Voice Fund is a shining example of his uplifting work that has been supported by the revival of the Black Lives Matter movement in America. The fund is backed by €100 million from YouTube and is now also available to South African artists. “To help amplify new narratives and content that emphasizes the intellectual power, passion and joy of this brilliant community, including economic equity and Black well-being, we created #YouTubeBlack Voices Fund. "Over the next three years, the #YouTubeBlack Voices Fund will be used to acquire and produce YouTube Originals shows focused on the Black experience, and to directly support Black creators and artists so they can thrive on YouTube," it says.
