Your next gaming laptop could finally have dedicated Intel graphics

Intel finally uncovered release data for Arc Alchemist GPUs dedicated to gaming laptops, which included a bold performance claim for upcoming mobile graphics chips.

This comes from an official statement from Intel VP and General Manager of Visual Computing Suite, Plana Pearce, who also asserted that the laptop's prudent GPU will exhibit a "2X improvement in graphics performance over integrated graphics." . This surely refers to the graphics chips built into the company's latest H-series processors for laptops.

Not only has it been announced that the launch of the laptop GPU will take place on March XNUMX, but there will also be a unique Intel Arc graphics event on that date. Although not officially announced, this event could also unveil the Arc Alchemist desktop graphics cards which, according to recent gossip, could launch in May XNUMX.

However, it is essential to keep in mind that the event that is going to take place on March XNUMX is probably only an announcement. Arc Alchemist GPUs will likely be physically available in laptops at some future date. We probably don't have to wait long for these GPUs to be included in certain gaming laptops.

Previously leaked benchmarks also found that Arc Alchemist's flagship desktop GPU would be comparable to the RTX XNUMX Ti. The mobile version announced today is indeed going to be skinnier than that, but we're looking forward to putting them in the lab to test them out for ourselves. One thing is for sure, the gaming laptop market is about to heat up with the arrival of a third GPU manufacturer.
