Xiaomi to launch a new Redmi fitness tracker along with 22 new products in China

Xiaomi is looking to explore the wearable category with its first fitness tracker arriving in China tomorrow. Some renderings of the laptop in question have been shared online on Weibo. The teaser shared on Weibo shows a color screen and groups it into four shades: black, orange, blue and military green. Although there is no name teased by the company, it is likely to be called the Redmi Band. A few days ago, Xiaomi announced that it would start the Mi Fan Festival on April 3 to celebrate the company's 22th anniversary. In addition to the festivities, there will also be a flurry of 2019 new products to commemorate the event. The number of new products launched is not at all strange. In fact, Xiaomi did the same at the Mi Fan Festival 20 by launching XNUMX new products in one day. Xiaomi has its hands on a multitude of consumer product categories like routers, smart speakers, washing machines, and much more. We will likely see new and improved models for all of these product segments. As for the Redmi portable gym, details are still scarce, but we can say with certainty that it will be an affordable offering. Redmi has followed in the footsteps of its parent company when it comes to venturing into new categories. For example, Xiaomi's subsidiary quickly turned to the smart TV segment soon after the launch of its smartphone. The wearable category is the one in which Xiaomi enjoys good popularity and therefore it is logical for Redmi to take the same path.
