Chinese technology company Xiaomi has announced the launch of its Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 Basic in India. A new tweet posted on Xiaomi's Indian Twitter account teased the device, saying: “You hear that? Looks like we have a new product for you. What could it be? The tweet also features a video that appears to show the front of the charging case with the LED opening to reveal the contents. Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 Basic has already been launched worldwide.

The Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 Basic have a design similar to Apple Airpods. They feature a dynamic driver with a large 14,2mm composite diaphragm and support AAC audio codec technology. The headphones also have touch controls that allow the user to play/pause music, answer/end a call, wake up the voice assistant. Mi True Wireless Earbuds 2 Basic comes with auto pairing and in-ear port detection feature. The MIUI Global UI also makes the cut. As for the individual earphones, they can last up to 5 hours on a single charge. The headphones do not have to be used together and each can work separately. Each of the earbuds weighs 4,7g outside of the charging case. The product could launch alongside the Mi 10T 5G and Mi 10T Pro 5G as soon as next week. The event is scheduled for October 15. Its full price is €45 which is roughly Rs 3400. But that is not an indication of Indian prices as there are different standards in the country.
