Xiaomi Mi 10 will charge even faster than Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra

Xiaomi Mi 10 will charge even faster than Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra

While most of the attention in the phone world is currently on the Samsung Galaxy S20 range, another high-end phone is about to land in the form of the Xiaomi Mi 10, and before launch, the company revealed. a few details about the phone, including its very fast charging speeds. Xiaomi consulted Weibo (a Chinese social network) to reveal that the Xiaomi Mi 10 supports 50W wired charging. To put this in perspective, even the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra tops out at 45W, and the rest of the Galaxy range. S20 is capped at 25W. Still not quite as good as we would have liked, given that Xiaomi had already teased that it would charge 100W in at least one of its 2020 phones. Still, 50W is an impressive spec, and the Xiaomi Mi 10 will also be able to charge 30W wirelessly and charge 10W wirelessly, where it will use the Mi 10 as a charging pad to power other devices.

High speeds with high contrast

In another article, the CEO of the company said that the Xiaomi Mi 10 would have a curved AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate. This would beat most phones, but it doesn't quite match. with the S20 range, all of which have up to a 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate – higher numbers leading to a smoother experience of interacting with the screen. The Xiaomi Mi 10 also supports HDR10 +, has a maximum brightness of 1.120 nits (which is very high, but does not correspond to the 1.200 nits in the S20 range), and a contrast ratio of 5,000,000: 1, which exceeds the Galaxy S20 range. Contrast ratio of 2,000,000:1. So it looks like a pretty impressive display. There's a lot more we don't know for sure yet about the Xiaomi Mi 10, but we'll find out soon as the phone will be announced online on February 13, which is tomorrow at the time of writing. The release is for China, but a global release is scheduled for February 23. Via GSM Arena
