Despite the fact that Amazon increased the annual cost to € 59 last year (the monthly fee also increased to € 6.49), the service is still essential. Additionally, students enjoy a six-month free trial, which is significantly longer than the traditional 30-day trial offered to Premium members.

A .: Amazon Student costs € 59 per year or € 6.49 per month, after a free (limited) six-month trial period. Audited students (must have an .edu email address) are eligible for four years or until graduation, whichever comes first. After that, the membership will automatically renew at € 119 per year. Students must pay taxes on their members if they live in Arizona, California, Florida, Kentucky, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, West Virginia, or Wisconsin.

A .: Amazon Student has a sponsorship program that pays € 5 to the referred student and the student who leads them. Amazon has requirements regarding how to send the invitation to another student, share a link on social media, or use Amazon's email form to send the invitation.

A .: Amazon Households allows two adults to share the benefits of membership. So this might be an option for student roommates, but this only saves an extra dollar compared to Amazon Student. You can also go for the package at € 6.49 / month and cancel the months when you do not plan to use it.
Q .: What items benefit from free shipping with Amazon Prime?
A .: Most items sold by Amazon directly or through "qualified sellers" are eligible for free two-day shipping with Amazon Prime. Some of these products are also eligible for free overnight shipping. Q .: What is the argument against subscribing to Amazon Student?
A.: You may not need Amazon Prime to receive free shipping benefits. Purchases over €35 already benefit from free shipping. Regarding the additional benefits of streaming services, if you are happy with other music or video streaming services that you already subscribe to (such as Hulu, Netflix, Apple Music or Spotify), the offers may be that the media Amazon will not provide you with anything new. Amazon has a way to invoice your purchases. You will also need to verify that you are a student. A university-issued email address ending with .edu qualifies. (It's just to receive an email confirmation from Amazon and you don't need to use your Amazon account.) Otherwise, you'll need to send Amazon a scanned document that proves you're a student, such as a transcript or student card. Amazon.com explains the details. If, during the trial period, you decide that Amazon Student isn't worth paying for, go to your account (before the end of the trial period), select Manage Best Subscription, and then click Don't Continue.
