Vivo is all set to launch a new smartphone in India called Y73 which is part of the Y series in the mid-range device segment in India. Before that, previous leaks shared some of the expected details of the device. Now, in an official tweet, the company has announced that the Vivo Y73 is scheduled to launch on June 10 at noon. The rear panel of the device seems to have a square pattern texture. And it seems confirmed that it will come with a three-camera setup. Previous leaks suggested that the Vivo Y73 would be equipped with a 6.44-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels. This screen will have a pixel density of 408PPI, as well as HDR10 support. Inside, it comes with an octa-core MediaTek Helio G95 SoC, made using a 12nm manufacturing process. The Vivo Y73 has a Mali-G76 GPU and as we mentioned above, it will come with 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage. Apparently, the smartphone will support 3GB of "extended RAM", which we assume is a reference to VRAM. Other storage options will include a microSD card slot. DNA for OS, the Vivo Y73 will feature FuntouchOS 11 based on Android 11. As for the cameras, the smartphone will offer a triple rear camera setup with a 64 MP main sensor that has an aperture of f/1.79, accompanied by a 2 MP macro camera and a .2 MP depth sensor, both with an f/2.4 aperture with an LED flash. For selfies, it will have a 16MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture. In terms of battery, the Vivo Y73 comes with a 4000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. In terms of connectivity, it will support 4G bands, dual SIM slots, WiFi 2/4GHz, and Bluetooth 5. It has dimensions that measure 5.0 × 161,24 × 74,37 mm and weighs 7,38 grams.
