OnePlus has confirmed that its popular smart TVs will receive affordable variants in July. On this basis we now have confirmation of the available sizes. Both models have recently been certified by the Bluetooth SIG (Special Interest Group), which has revealed some additional details about the new variants. These will have smaller panels, at 32 and 43 inches, with an expected resolution of HD and Full HD respectively. This is supported by the model numbers, which are 32HA0A00 and 43FA0A00, which indicate screen sizes, followed by panel resolutions. The database also confirms that the TVs will have an LE panel, giving us hope for an OLED or QLED implementation on a budget. OnePlus also confirmed that the base model would be priced at "Rs 1x,999", suggesting a price of just under Rs 20,000 in India. It's a big step up from the OnePlus TV Q1 series, which launched last year at a starting price of Rs 69.999. OnePlus says that premium features will still be available on this new line of affordable smart TVs, which, in our opinion, is an indication of the Oxygen OS customizations in Android TV OS 9.0. The TVs will also support Bluetooth 5.0. Two remote control models (RC-002B and RC-002C) have also been certified, but the differences between the two are not clear. We expect it to be similar to the remote that comes with the OnePlus TV Q1, with dedicated buttons for Google Assistant, Netflix, and Amazon Prime Video. Upcoming OnePlus TVs will compete with offerings from Xiaomi, Realme, and Nokia, all of which have capable offerings. With the launch scheduled for July 2, we will know how OnePlus plans to compete with them. Other products, like the OnePlus true wireless headphones and the affordable mid-range OnePlus North. It remains to be seen if everyone sticks to their schedules or falls behind as well. Via Gadgets360
