Hystou All in One Workstation - €1,253.70 on AliExpress
(€ 1,002.71 / AU € 1,775.24)
This all-in-one workstation from Hystou is right up there with the best iMac Pro rivals on the market, and it's only a fraction of the price. If you can accept a product from a lesser-known vendor, take a look! A wave of new products has been released in recent weeks, based on new Intel processors. One in particular caught our eye because it almost sounds too good to be true. Hystou sells an all-in-one gaming computer for around €1,250 (£1,000 / AU$1,775) through its AliExpress store. But frankly, we see it more as a competitor to the Apple iMac Pro, which is especially true once you get down to it. What do you get for your money? An 7-core, 9700-thread Intel Core i8-8F processor with a dedicated graphics card (Nvidia Geforce GTX1650 with 4GB of GDDR5 memory), 64GB of DDR4 memory, and a 1TB PCIe SSD. All of the components are housed behind a 27-inch Full HD display, which is probably the most disappointing part of the setup. Elsewhere, there's a DVI-D port (great for older displays), four USB 3.0 connectors, two USB 2.0 connectors, a GbE LAN port, a full-size DisplayPort connector, and two audio connectors, and you can add two more SATA connectors. . 2,5 inches. storage devices too. Other notable features include a 200W power adapter, 802.11n Wi-Fi, keyboard and mouse, and a pair of 3W speakers. However, there are some problems. First of all, although there is a three-year warranty, any problem will cause the 17,5 kg package to be sent back to China. We don't like the fact that there's no webcam or Bluetooth and Wi-Fi could have been better for a few bucks as well. The closest Apple iMac equivalent has the same amount of memory, but a 256GB SSD and a much smaller 5-core Intel Core i6, and costs $2,799. Yes, it has a much higher build quality and that Retina 5K display, but is it worth the 120% premium?
