Halo has arrived on the planet of footwear, with Halo Infinite developer Three Hundred and Forty Three Industries teaming up with shoemaker Wolverine to spawn a limited edition boot inspired by the Master Chief himself.
The officially licensed shoe is developed to mimic the traditional color, shape, and style of the Master Chief's armor in Halo Infinite. This means that it is armor-shaped, military green in color, adorned with the United Nations Space Command insignia, and features the number one hundred and seventeen (the Spartan leader's number) on the heel.
It also features the Materials Group logo on the sole, as a nod to the creators of the Master Chief's Mjolnir armor game. The shoe itself is full grain leather, rather than titanium alloy.
It's also going to cost you a pretty penny. You'll need to pay €XNUMX, or around €XNUMX / AU$XNUMX, to get them, although Wolverine generally doesn't ship outside of the US. With only one hundred and seventeen pairs made, the chance you'll be able to pick them up is pretty limited.
According to a press release, the boot did not start out as an official Halo sneaker. Enthusiasts felt that another of Wolverine's designs, the Hellcat, seemed like something out of the Halo cosmos and demanded an officially licensed version.
