At the same time that the official Lego Black Friday sales kicked off on November 27, the brand launched its super-expensive new set, and despite there being no Black Friday or Cyber Monday Lego deal, the kit is sold out. . . This new game is the Lego Creator Colosseum, and this game will set you back $549.99 / $449.99; it's one of the most expensive new Lego sets the brand has ever released, but it's certainly not the most expensive. . This price is somewhat justified: the game has more than 9,000 pieces and measures about half a square meter with a height of 27 cm. It's not as big as the historic location it's based on, but it's not too far away either. It's also a really nice piece of kit; we fell a bit in love with it even though we never visited the site it's based on. Despite its steep price tag and massive volume, this Lego Colosseum apparently found a passionate following, as the set sold out very quickly. It's currently out of stock on the Lego website, with new orders expected to ship on January 21 as of this writing.
