The Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 could have a bigger screen, to compete with the iPad Pro

Samsung may have a new flagship tablet in the works, and it looks like the company could make changes to help it better compete with the 2020 iPad Pro lineup. According to SamMobile, two different sizes are in the works for the slate, which will likely be dubbed the Samsung Galaxy Tab. S7. These sizes are 11 inches and 12.4 inches, both larger than the 10.5-inch size of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6. While we're not sure why Samsung would make this change, it seems likely that the iPad Pro is a factor, as the latest models are available in 11-inch and 12,9-inch sizes. It wouldn't be the first time Samsung has offered its flagship slate in two sizes, either, so it's a credible change. The site adds that the Galaxy Tab S7 is in development under model numbers SM-T97x and SM-T87x, with mobile and Wi-Fi versions to follow.

Bigger screen means bigger battery

It will apparently be sold in grey, blue, and brown colors, along with a keyboard cover accessory, and will have a larger 6mAh battery than the Tab S7,040, improved cameras, 5G, and a chipset High-end configuration and RAM. Of course, none of this is confirmed yet, so let's take everything with a pinch of salt. We also don't know for sure what the slate will be called, because while the Galaxy Tab S7 is our best guess, Samsung may be calling it the Galaxy Tab S20, to bring it in line with the Samsung Galaxy S20 range. In any case, we can find out pretty quickly, as the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 was announced in July 2019, so assuming a similar timetable this year, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 may only be in a few months. We'll be sure to let you know as soon as we know more.
