And now, according to the new report, the Samsung Galaxy M12 also comes with the model number “SM-M127F / SM-F127G” on the rear panel. Furthermore, the report also states that the device might boot up as Galaxy M05 as they might detect the nickname M05. The Samsung Galaxy F series debuted in India last month with the Galaxy F41. While the series is brand new, the phone itself was a watered down version of the Galaxy M31 with slight changes. The new live image of the Galaxy M12 / F12 shows a new design language. For starters, there's a new textured finish. Most M-series devices currently offer a matte finish on a plastic/glass back. The camera design also appears to be overhauled. Live images show that the Samsung Galaxy M12/F12 could come with a square camera module instead of a vertical one. Just below the camera module, there is a cutout for the flash. It seems that Samsung is using the quad-camera setup with the mid-range devices. There's no cutout for the fingerprint scanner though, which means Samsung could upgrade to a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Other than that, we can see the 3,5mm headphone jack being retained. And finally, the device would offer a 6.7-inch punch-hole display, a massive 7000mAh battery, as we saw on the Galaxy M51. Other details of the Galaxy M12 / F12 remain to be known. A new report from 91mobiles also suggests that the upcoming Galaxy M12 could come with a unique two-tone finish. The device is said to come with a textured finish on the top and a glossy finish on the bottom. Other than that, the quad-camera setup will remain in the top corner.
