Apple could be about to release a Product Red edition of its Apple Watch to go along with the Product Red iPhones and iPods it has already sold. Charity editions of these devices raise money for the Product Red charity that is tackling aid in Africa, but until now there has never been a Product Red Apple Watch - just Product Red Apple Watch. Details of this potentially upcoming device were spotted by WatchGeneration in an Apple database, with a new part number separate from existing models, before promptly removing it. Do what you want with it, but it wouldn't be a huge surprise if an Apple Product Red Watch was on the way, given Apple's previous associations with the charity.

Who watches the watchmakers?

The Apple Watch 5 only launched in September, so it's a little early for a full update, but Apple could release a new Product Red model in early 2020 for just as interest continues to swirl through September. 2020.
