Google has introduced a new and improved version of the Google Pixel Buds called the Google Pixel Buds Pro that will go on sale for pre-orders on July 21, 2022.
Like Apple's AirPods Pro, Google has equipped its latest true wireless earbuds with multipoint connectivity that allows them to pair with multiple devices simultaneously, active noise cancellation with a pass-through transparency mode, and later this year, support for spatial audio.
That said, Google has its own tricks that even Apple doesn't: The Pixel Buds Pro will still offer live translation for more than two dozen languages, and they'll come with the Google Assistant built-in that lets you control your smart home.
Best of all, they'll cost just $199 (about $160, AU$290) when they're available on July 28.
