Outriders got its first major patch sooner than expected, fixing a number of bugs, including crossplay issues, though it only came for PC and PlayStation; Xbox gamers are still waiting for its debut. The big patch (with notes provided on Reddit) now allows PC and PS players to join, but since the patch isn't coming to Xbox, crossplay between Xbox and PC/PS isn't possible just yet. Regarding the Xbox patch, Square Enix notes that it's "a bit late", so hopefully it's imminent (although to be fair, the patch itself was originally scheduled for next week, so it's out already). sooner than expected on the other platforms). Square Enix says: "We expect this patch to be ready for Xbox very soon and will update it as soon as we hear from us." Don't lie to the patch status on Google Stadia. The other major changes are better matchmaking stability and a number of fixes for multiple crashes, including random crashes, with Square Enix noting: "We are confident that these fixes will resolve most of the reported crashes, as It doesn't work. There are only a handful of the root causes, but the crashes they produce show up in multiple places." Fixed many other issues, including the HUD disappearing and players crashing or falling all over the world.
