Logitech's new dock is built for a work-from-home planet
Logitech announced a new all-in-one docking station to make video conferencing easier for those who work from home. The company's new Logi Dock is expected to be certified for Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom when it launches this winter. Aside from giving remote workers and hybrid workers a centralized hub to connect their devices, the Logi Dock also has one-touch assembly controls and a built-in speakerphone for taking video calls. Logitech Video Collaboration General Manager and Vice President Scott Wharton explained in a press release how the Logi Dock is the end result of a close examination of the needs of those working from home throughout the pandemic, saying: “ When the pandemic hit, we spent an incredible amount of time with our end users understanding their needs and issues in a work-from-home world. The result was Logi Dock. It is a disruptive, easy and modern hospitality solution. like key cooperative features like tap to join and better mute control. And that's not inconsequential, it transforms our wired "rat's nest" into the very stylish workspace we all crave."

Since desktop clutter can interfere with workers' daily productivity, Logi Dock is developed to help declutter your desktop by managing a single connection point for your devices. The docking station can connect up to 5 USB devices and up to 2 monitors, while charging a laptop up to XNUMXW. With just one cable connection from the Logi Dock to your laptop, the new Logitechn Home Docking Station can eliminate excess of unnecessary cables, dongles and chargers to make your workspace look cleaner and more organized. The Logi Dock also integrates with Logitech's Logi Tune app, allowing you to control and customize the experience of using the company's personal cooperation devices. When combined with the app's calendar integration, Logi Dock displays smart light cues to alert remote workers when a meeting is about to start. Meanwhile, the base's intuitive buttons let you join a call, end a call, end a call, or turn the camera on or off to create a fuss-free meeting experience. Sound quality is another advantage of Logi Dock as the devices are designed with professional sound quality. Users can take advantage of the noise-cancelling speakerphone for conference calls, then automatically switch to a Zone Wireless headset or Zone True Wireless headset for private conversations. The docking station speakers can also be used to stream music when you're not at a meeting. The Logi Dock will be available in graphite and white when it ships this winter and the device will have an MSRP of $XNUMX (around $XNUMX).
