Facebook is testing a new feature that will allow you to share your WhatsApp status directly to Facebook and Instagram at the touch of a button. The feature is being rolled out. If this interests you, you can join the beta program for Android or iOS and give it a try. Testers must choose to share each status update individually. It's not possible to automatically send all statuses to other apps, which should help prevent excessive and embarrassing sharing. In January, Facebook announced that it would unite all of its apps. CEO Mark Zuckerberg told developers to rebuild Facebook Messenger, Instagram and WhatsApp "at their most basic level." Much to the relief of many, the announcement heralded rumors that all three services would be part of the same monster social network, a place where selfie-filled Instagram accounts would be lost along with family message groups, and the data entered. in an app they would be universally shared. Instead, their feedback suggested that the best features of each app (such as WhatsApp's end-to-end encryption) can be shared with other people, improving them and keeping them separate.
