Final Fantasy 7 Remake Final Trailer Ensures PC Version Will Arrive
Final Fantasy 7 Remake dropped today, and it's a fantastic time according to our reviewer. However, fans who would like to embark on the PC adventure are missing out on the excitement, but perhaps not for long. Square Enix released a trailer where Yoshinori Kitase thanks fans for waiting for Final Fantasy 7 Remake, where he notes that it's been 23 years since the original game was released. But, there's another crucial detail in this trailer: gameplay was captured on PC, according to a tag on the screen.

(Image credit: Square Enix) For many games, it's pretty standard. The best gaming PCs are simply capable of rendering more detailed gameplay, thanks to the power of modern graphics cards and processors. However, most of the games that take this approach are, as you know, PC games. Final Fantasy 7 Remake, at least currently, is only available on PS4. The game is a time exclusive, rather than a permanent Sony mainstay, but a PC version has yet to be confirmed. With the way things have been in recent years, it would be frankly extremely surprising if a PC version of Final Fantasy VII Remake isn't available, but it's 2020 and we can't be sure of anything anymore. Regardless, we've reached out to Square Enix for comment, but until the publisher announces a PC (or Xbox One) port, we'll just have to wait and see what the future holds for Final Fantasy VII Remake.
