Samsung Galaxy Tab S6

More power but at a higher price.

Weight: 420 g | Dimensions: 245 x 159 x 57 mm | Screen size: 10.5 inches | Resolution: 1600 x 2560 | Processor: Snapdragon 855 | RAM: 6 GB | Storage: 128GB-256GB | Battery: 7,040 mAh | Rear camera: 13MP | Front camera: 8MP

The most powerful Samsung tablet yet Comes with the S pen Could potentially replace your laptop... ...if you pay for the keyboard No headphone port The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 really wants to replace your other devices, be it your laptop or even your iPad Pro. It comes with a feature-rich S Pen stylus that recharges in a very convenient magnetic slot on the back of the tablet when not in use. Dex Mode works wonderfully as a Chromebook-like operating system, although to get the most out of it you'll have to shell out even more money on the BookCover keyboard (now with a trackpad). Considering the high price of the Galaxy Tab S6, Samsung would have won us a lot more if the keyboard was standard. The battery should get you through a work day and we're amazed at how easily you can switch between work tasks or just kick back and enjoy the beautiful display and surprisingly powerful speakers for media playback. and web browsing. If occasional use is your thing for a Samsung tablet, we recommend checking out the prices for the cheapest models below.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e

Probably better than the S4 despite the lower price

Weight: 400g | Dimensions: 245 x 160 x 5mm | Screen size: 10.5 inches | Resolution: 1600 x 2560 | Processor: Snapdragon 670 | RAM: 4/6 GB | Storage: 64/128GB | Battery: 7,040mAh | Rear camera: 13MP | Front camera: 8MP Beautiful display and chassis Always packs a punch No stylus holder No 3.5mm headphone port The Galaxy Tab S5e isn't a complete upgrade to the S4, instead combining minor upgrades and downgrades to bring the price down significantly. You still get the same AMOLED screen and Dex connectivity as the pricier S4. The Tab S5e is actually even thinner, lighter, and includes a fingerprint reader. The processor is a bit slower in the S5e, but not by far. You don't get a stylus here either, as the S5e's screen doesn't support any kind of stylus, and it doesn't have a traditional 3.5mm headphone port either. If you don't have issues with the lack of stylus support, we'd prefer this model to the more expensive Tab S4.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 inch price

Samsung's old flagship is way cheaper now

Weight: 389g | Dimensions: 237.3 x 169 x 5.6mm | Screen size: 9.7 inches | Resolution: 1536 x 2048 | Processor: Octa-core | RAM: 3GB | Storage: 32GB / 64GB | Battery: 5870mAh | Rear camera: 8MP | Front camera: 2.1MP Slim design Screen still looks great Battery life With a stunning AMOLED screen to match many Samsung smartphones, this 9.7-inch Android tablet is still the one we really love. It's super thin, even thinner than the iPad Air 2, and it's also super light but very powerful. Battery isn't the best if you're away from a powerpoint for the day and RAM is a bit low compared to newer versions, but if you're not going to put the Tab S2 through too many intensive apps, it should still be pretty smooth. It's typically less than half the price of the latest Samsung tablet in the series, which is a huge selling point in itself. Read our full review: Samsung Galaxy Tab S2

Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8-inch price

The smallest version of a Samsung classic

Weight: 265g | Dimensions: 198.6 x 134.8 x 5.6mm | Screen size: 8 inches | Resolution: 1536 x 2048 | Processor: Octa-core | RAM: 3GB | Storage: 32GB / 64GB | Battery: 4000mAh | Rear camera: 8MP | Front camera: 2.1MP Same great design Detailed screen with high PPI Better battery life than the larger version. The prices of the 2-inch and 8-inch S9.7 intersect frequently, making it difficult to recommend one over the other. On one hand, getting a bigger screen for less money seems like the best option, but you might prefer a smaller screen if you're more on the go or find large tablets a bit heavy. The battery in this version is smaller, which is another thing to consider. The screen resolution is the same, but the PPI (pixel per inch) density is higher on the small screen, so it's a bit better. Read our full review: Samsung Galaxy Tab S2
