There's no question: Sony's PS4 Pro is one of the best game consoles you can buy, maybe even the best.
But to fill new games, it is worth doing a little research. Many PS4 Pro games are offered and some will benefit more than others from the console's 4K HDR technology. All PS4 Pro games are not the same.
The fact is, even calling them PS4 Pro games isn't entirely accurate. Sony has requested that all future PlayStation 4 games be able to run on older and newer PS4 consoles.
This means that developers must be creative to create a unique experience that fits both machines. Some seem to have managed this effort better than others. Some developers simply use it to increase the performance of stuttering titles on older, less powerful hardware.
However, don't focus on the missteps. If you want to enjoy the PS4 Pro in all its 4K or HDR splendor, these are the best games to show off your new console.
UPDATE: According to reports this week, a new edition of the popular Marvel Spider-Man game from the team at Insomniac Games will be available soon. It is not officially known how this new edition, called the annual edition of the game, will work or what additions it will bring, but keep your eyes open.
