The best Fortnite skin has arrived, and it's Blanka in a fancy costume

Fortnite and Street Fighter have joined forces once again to bring two of the world's most iconic warriors to the fast-paced Battle Royale island. This time, they are two characters that have thrived in the Street Fighter Alpha series, and they are going to be gone very soon.

Epic Games has officially announced that skins featuring Blanka and Sakura from Street Fighter will be added to the Fortnite store starting April 28. Li, Guile and Cammy.

Skin prices have yet to be announced, but previous Street Fighter skin packs in Fortnite cost 1600 V-Bucks each (about $16 / about $13 / AU$23), so we're hoping that Blanka and Sakura's packages cost at least that much.

It's not just about the skins you get, as both packs come with their fair share of Street Fighter related items. The Blanka Pack includes a Blanka-Chan Back Bling, a Backflip Emote, and an alternate skin of "Blanka Delgado" that dresses her in a fancy costume, which has to be among the best Fortnite skins ever.

Meanwhile, Sakura has an alternate gym outfit inspired by Street Fighter 4, a Hanakaze Claw Back Bling, and his iconic victory dance from Street Fighter Alpha as an emote.

The kind of Fortnite crossover we like to see

Fortnite has really upped its game when it comes to crossover skins lately. Of course, there's always a steady stream of predictable additions from the Marvel and DC Universes, but what we really love to see are notable video game characters joining the fray, like Master Chief Kratos from God of War's Halo, as well like these Warriors from the world of Street Fighter.

This latest Street Fighter crossover is also a bit trickier than usual, hosting two tournaments for Fortnite's Zero Build mode, where top-performing players have a chance to win a unique Street Fighter Bonus loading screen. Stage.

We doubt this will be the last time we see Street Fighter characters joining Fortnite, as there are plenty of fan-favorite fighters who deserve to join the battle royale. The question is who, then? Fortnite could add even more classic characters like Ken or M. Bison, for example.

Ultimately, we'd like to see Epic push the pot and include popular characters from other fighting games as well. Tekken and The King of Fighters are two big franchises that come to mind here, and it would be great to see characters from those games go up against Capcom's best in a completely unfamiliar setting.
