Achievements are now on Google Stadia

Google Stadia has been out for a month now and we're starting to see the number of features it supports increase. Following the highly anticipated release of Screen Connect with Ghost Recon: Breakpoint, an achievement system has now been confirmed. At the moment, achievements and their notifications are only supported in Chrome and Chromecast browsers, but Google said in a community update that it plans to roll out the feature to users of the mobile app in 2020. As of now, gamers they will receive notifications when they get an exploit in the games that support them (although at the moment these notifications cannot be turned off, which is not so great for those who record videos) and they can publish their own and their friends' list of achievements on the web .

? Our hit system is here and now you will get notifications when you play on desktop, laptop and TV. You can see your full list of achievements on the web, including all the ones you've earned since you started playing Stadia. pic.twitter.com/VX7cGg9K9kDecember 20, 2019

there's more to come

Fortunately, if you've been using Google Stadia for some time, you won't see a completely empty list when you're allowed to check your achievements; Google and Stadia have tracked the progress of the game so that the successes you've already achieved appear without you having to repeat them. It's a pretty rudimentary system right now, but in addition to using its Community Round-Up page to confirm mobile app support is coming in 2020, Google also said it had "no longer in reserve" for next year's achievements. So far, there are no details on what this "plus" will be, but it is likely that there are measures to make the system a little deeper. and maybe even more individual for Google Stadia. We imagine that Google will develop when 2020 arrives.
