Star Wars: The Bad Batch trailer shows incredible cameos

The Bad Batch is the upcoming animated television show set in the Star Wars universe. Just a month after its release on Disney Plus, fans have now been treated to a new trailer. It's only two minutes long, but the released footage provides a surprising amount of detail about the upcoming series, including some surprising cameos. In the trailer, we see Clone Force 99 (aka The Bad Batch) undergo various tests on what appears to be Kamino, the clone homeworld, by Grand Admiral Tarkin. It seems that Tarkin and Clone Force 99 are not getting along, and it seems that the tensions could cause The Bad Batch to leave the Empire. As the trailer shows, we'll also see Clone Force 99 teaming up with some Star Wars characters we've seen before. A young Saw Gerrera, a prominent rebel played by Forest Whitaker in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, and Fennec Shand, who we last saw in The Mandalorian, are just two of those people. Shand, who will again be played by Ming-Na Wen, and appears to have a starring role here, possibly setting up her story in preparation for The Boba Fett Book live-action series in which she will appear more later this year. . . The trailer also featured a little boy, though we don't yet know who they are or what role they will play. We have a feeling they could be important, but we'll probably have to wait until The Bad Batch releases on May 4 to find out more.

Who are the bad guys?

Clone Force 99 earn their title of "The Bad Batch" because they are a squad of defective clones. However, rather than stand by, the Republic decided to take them into the field after realizing that what makes these clones different is also what makes them a force to be reckoned with. They first appeared in season 7 of the animated series The Clone Wars, where fans met the members of the team. Their leader, Hunter, has heightened senses, making him an excellent tracker, Crosshair is an expert sniper who masters most blasters, Wrecker is a brute with ridiculous strength, and Tech has a knack for everything. He's a mechanic. They are also joined by Echo, a clone who has been kidnapped by the Separatist Army and experimented on. After being rescued, Echo no longer felt like she could fit in with her old crew and decided to join Clone Force 99. It seems that Star Wars Galaxy has a lot to do with The Bad Batch and we can't wait to see what they face next. Today's best Disney Plus deals
