Sky Q adds Squad to its suite of fitness apps for TV

Looking to lose that blocking instinct? Now you can get fit from the comfort of your living room, as Sky Q has expanded its suite of fitness apps to include the popular training service Peloton. In between the entrances of the style studio à votre télé, the Peloton application offers a tonne of fitness sessions directed by an instructor in all categories, and includes strength, yoga, cardio, Pilates, barre, meditation and still more. Although Peloton offers exercise equipment such as the Peloton bike and the Peloton treadmill, these are not required to enjoy the service. Sky Q customers who have not tried Peloton yet can get a free XNUMX-day trial of the Peloton app through Sky Q. Following trial, Peloton's digital subscription is €XNUMX a month, while existing Peloton All-Access and Digital members can use the account they subscribed to on Sky Q.

Platoon problems

However, it was quite a difficult week for the Platoon company. In the US, it has prompted a voluntary recall of its treadmills, the Peloton Tread and the Peloton Tread+, due to safety concerns. The Tread + was involved in a fatal accident and both machines were criticized for their design that could result in injury. Customers of the service are encouraged to stop using the treadmills immediately, and those in the US can request a refund or have the equipment repaired. For more information on the situation and what to do with Platoon equipment outside of the US, visit our Platoon removal help page. Luckily, the Sky Q app doesn't require any Peloton hardware; It is strongly developed to work with exercises that require little to no gym equipment on a regular basis, and is still recommended.
