Samsung Galaxy S11e may have a larger battery than expected

The Samsung Galaxy S11 series could contain larger batteries than originally planned, due to a leak in the smallest device in the lineup.

A Galaxy S11e battery leak was detected through a listing on a Korean security website, spotted by GalaxyClub, which includes a photo of the phone's battery.

This cell says that it has a capacity of 3.730 mAh. If this is true, it will probably come in the form of a 3800mAh cell (often larger than the carriers), which is noticeably larger than the 3100mAh cell inside the Galaxy S10e.

There is currently no evidence of the size of the Galaxy S11 or Galaxy S11 Plus battery, but if the company chooses to update the Galaxy S10e suite, it could mean battery upgrades.

Another theory about the battery boost is that it will be a 5G model of the phone. Samsung is expected to introduce a new lineup of 5G models for its Galaxy S11 series, and this feature may lead to further battery pressure drop.

It would be logical for Samsung to decide to increase the battery capacity to deal with this situation. So the standard version of the phone may not have a bigger battery after all.
