Samsung Galaxy Buds Plus will ship free with Galaxy S20 Plus, if you pre-order
The Samsung Galaxy Buds Plus would be free if you pre-order one of the brand's most expensive S20 smartphones, which will be unveiled on February 11 during Samsung Unpacked 2020. A promotional image released by famed tipster Evan Blass shows off the new earbuds. true wireless pairs alongside the Galaxy S20+ and S20 Ultra, while text at the top of the image reads, "Order now and get free Galaxy Buds+." It doesn't appear that pre-orders for the regular Galaxy S20 are eligible for this offer, though it's important to note that Samsung has yet to verify whether the promo image is authentic, and we probably won't know until February 11.

Many leaks

Based on the leaked image, it appears that the new Galaxy Buds Plus will have a very similar design to its predecessors, with pearlescent covers and adjustable silicone tips. There have been several leaks in anticipation of the release date of Samsung's new true wireless earphones, including an alleged lack of noise cancellation. According to a report from SamMobile, the second-generation true wireless earbuds won't be as big of an upgrade as we'd hoped, eschewing the AirPods Pro-style noise-canceling tech we've been hoping for. Prolific tech specialist @UniverseIce also made the same statements in early January. Samsung may plan to release a more premium version of the Galaxy Buds Plus in the future, which comes with noise cancellation; this would allow the brand to offer two models at different prices, as Apple does with the original AirPods and AirPods. Pro. The new Galaxy Buds Plus would also have a much longer battery life than its predecessors, at 12 hours on a single charge. An FCC filing for the new buds has revealed that they will use 300mAh batteries, while the charging case will use 600mAk batteries; the original Galaxy Buds used 150mAh and 300mAh batteries respectively. Sure, we'll have to wait until February 11 to find out exactly what the new true wireless earphones will offer, but at this rate, there won't be many surprises in Samsung Unpacked 2020.
