Samsung brings the mid-size Galaxy A50 to the US with business models

Samsung is expanding its budget and mid-range smartphone offering in the US with the Galaxy A50, which borrows from and even surpasses some features of the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10e, plus the premium version. Along with the A50, Samsung is also offering the Galaxy A20 and Galaxy A10e to more carriers to provide consumers with cost-effective options. The Galaxy A50 will first arrive on Verizon on June 13 for €349. It offers a high-end design with Samsung's Super AMOLED Infinity-U display style applied to a large 6.4-inch screen. This screen also offers a Full HD resolution of 1,080 x 2,340. Inside, the Galaxy A50 packs mid-range specs with an octa-core processor that combines 2,3GHz quad-core and 1,7GHz quad-core. It also comes with 4GB of RAM, which should offer a capacity of decent multitasking for a phone in its price range. Base storage is 64GB, but the Galaxy A50 supports extended storage via microSD card up to 512GB. The Galaxy A50 uses a small cutout at the top of the screen to house the forward-facing camera, but the tilt back is where things pick up speed. It is equipped with several sensors, including a 25 MP main sensor for high-resolution images, an 8 MP wide-angle sensor for photos with a 123-degree field of view, and a 5 MP sensor to activate depth effects. . There are also some premium features beyond the camera and screen. Samsung has integrated fingerprint scanning technology into its high-end Galaxy S10 display in the Galaxy A50. It also has a large 4000 mAh fast charging battery. When it comes to screen size and battery, the Galaxy A50 outperforms the Galaxy S10e. Smartphone users who can afford a little less also have a choice of the Galaxy A20 with a 6.4-inch screen at €249 and the Galaxy A10e with a 5.83-inch screen at €179. A20 and Galaxy A10e should allow more carriers and retailers to do so in the coming weeks, though no specific details have been provided.
