RTX 3090 Ti packaging leak could confirm other rumored specs

The GeForce RTX 3090 Ti rumor mill has been running for months, with everything from specs to price to availability. But now we might get a clearer look at graphics cards, thanks to a new leaked image from ITHome.

A first look at the packaging of the RTX 3090 Ti has been revealed, showing that this particular card is said to be made by ASUS and represents the TUF Gaming series. Judging from the photo of the graphics card on the sleeve, we can deduce several things.

First of all, the cooler is thicker on the 3090 Ti compared to the 350W RTX 3090 TUF, perhaps confirming the rumor that this version has 450W TDP, which is almost 100W more than the current model. There is also a number "4" near the PCIe Gen 4.0 information on the box, which can confirm the 24GB configuration. Finally, it looks like the 3090 Ti isn't the first PCIe Gen 5.0 card, which is fine against current rumours.

Analysis: what we know so far

Until now, there has been a steady stream of rumors about the RTX 3090 Ti. One of the most common is that Nvidia may be revealing the GPU at CES 2022, along with the cheaper RTX 3050 and a redesign of the RTX 3070 Ti with more VRAM (16GB). It also appears, according to Vine, that the 3090 Ti will be the only one that won't be delayed.

It's also said to have a GA102 GPU with 10,752 CUDA cores (compared to 10,496 cores on the 3090), and it'll feature a new card design with a different memory layout, and those 2GB modules, also with a new connector. which is most likely the PCIe Gen 5.0 card.

Of course, Nvidia hasn't confirmed any of these rumors (including the leaked packaging). So be sure to take it lightly until an official reveals it.
