Royal Battle of Fortnite Chapter 2: news, updates, maps and previews

Fortnite Chapter Two is a phrase you'll hear a lot this week - here's why.

What time to be a Fortnite player. The immensely popular game of Battle Royale blew up the storm this week, after plunging Fortnite Island on all of its servers into a gigantic black hole and leaving players without warning, insurance, or confirmation of what would happen. Apparently, it is the end.

This is not the end, of course, Fortnite is a huge money promise for Epic, and that is what allowed the developer to create their Epic Games Store. After all, we were expecting a new season after the current events of Season 10, but what is really going to happen and how long does it take for players to find out?

This is everything we know about Fortnite Chapter Two: 48 hours of leaks, speculation, and glimpses into the abyss.

UPDATE: There is now a cinematic trailer that was released for Fortnite Chapter Two, although the black hole still exists. Check out the trailer below.

What is fortnite?

Fortnite is one of the best video games of all time, and it is not hyperbole. Since its launch in 2017, millions of players have gotten used to the open access Royal Battle Game, which brings together 100 players. It's the last.

All Royal Battle games take place on the same map, the island, although Epic Games tends to change its exact features and geography for each new season, or for timed events and alternate game modes.

With a fun cartoon style, a combination of shooting and building mechanics, and accessible gameplay, with an extremely competitive objective for each 1v100 game, it's not hard to see why Fortnite has been so popular and so immersed in the game. pop culture, with hordes of kids, teens, and adults trying their luck. Yes, even Drake plays it.

There is a campaign mode called Save The World, although it is not usually what people call Fortnite.

What is Fortnite Chapter two?

Fortnite gets a reboot of sorts. Players were treated to a rude awakening on Sunday, October 13, when a massive black hole destroyed the island's map and shut down all servers for the battle royale. If it wasn't clear, it was intentional.

This comes to the end of a long-running sci-fi plot that will make sense only to players who have been playing the game for a long time, but the bottom line is that it's a good thing. is that the game is gone and that it returns at some point. Fortnite Chapter Two will apparently replace what season 11 players were hoping for, marking an update rather than an iterative update.

It's a bit disappointing that Epic hasn't reached out to their players. However, based on what we saw on Twitter, many people spent the night on their feet all night waiting for the black hole to change on the Fortnite website. That's fine for the game's hype, but can't you just let your players sleep, Epic?

You can watch the Fortnite black hole livestream here, although we don't recommend watching it for too long. You could go crazy.

Fortnite Chapter two: new map, gameplay and BOATS

Judging by the map of the destroyed islands, the only one available in Fortnite Chapter One, we assume that we will have a new island or a new region in which to shoot. We may get multiple new maps, but we're assuming it's on a single map to keep some consistency in the new chapter.

Apple's App Store in Italy appears to show a new map in the Fortnite app icon, and a trailer for Fortnite Chapter Two that has been excavated shows a new area populated by rivers, lakes, beaches, and boats from which you can move. . Other activities such as fishing and diving are also offered, although you can get shot while doing so.

Parts of the trailer remind us a bit of the Wild map in PUBG, which also proposed a war from the ships long before Fortnite thought about it.

Where can I play Fortnite?

Fortnite is a free game available to download on Android and iOS mobile, Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

Epic makes money buying customizable skins and items, although they are purely cosmetic and do not improve your chances of winning, despite your ability to intimidate other players.

Can I play Fortnite on mobile?

Yes it can! Can be. After months of waiting, Fortnite is finally on iOS and Android, although it does need a phone capable of running the game.

IOS users can download directly from the App Store. As long as you use iOS 11 on iPhone 6S / SE, iPad Mini 4, iPad Air 2, iPad 2017, iPad Pro or later, everything will be fine. Oh, and of course you will need an internet connection.

Fortnite also made its way to Android phones and finally came out of beta in October 2018. You can see the full list of phones, and how to find Fortnite settings, on our Fortnite on Android page.

Is this the complete game?

This is the complete Fortnite game. There are a few minor differences - it's not as visually impressive as on more powerful devices, the controls are tactile, and a lot of sound marks have been created so you can comfortably play in public without wearing headphones. But you won't miss any key features.

Fortnite release notes

What is the problem with cross play?

A good deal is what it is. While former Xbox One and PS4 owners couldn't play together, Sony's turn now means that everyone, whether on Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch, iOS, or Android, everyone can participate in the crossfire.

So if you have friends who prefer the PC, others who prefer the console, and you go on vacation with your cell phone, this is not a reason for the fun to stop.

There is also a cross progression. For example, if you have logged into your Fortnite mobile account and logged into your console later, everything you did on mobile later in the day is postponed.

Sounds great, how can I get it?

We have a guide on how to get Fortnite on mobile devices at LaComparacion and we are constantly updating it with the latest developments in implementation. If your device is still not there, check again and one day that will probably be the case.

What is a Fortnite Battle Pass?

The Battle Pass is an acquirable item in Fortnite that gives you access to exclusive in-game rewards.

As players complete daily challenges and rank up, they earn Battle Stars which can then be used to unlock levels in their Battle Pass. Each new level you unlock will bring free and premium rewards. All Battle Pass holders will get the free reward they have unlocked, but only Premium Pass holders will receive the Premium reward. Battle Pass Premium can only be purchased with V Dollars up for grabs and not with real money.

You can buy a Battle Pass for € 7 / € 10 in the Battle Pass tab of the game menu.
