Roidmi Nano P1 Pro Handheld Vacuum Review

Roidmi Nano P1 Pro Handheld Vacuum Review

One minute review

Pouring crumbs on a regular basis? Are the little ones ruining the back of the car? In the arts and crafts that display remains? So the Roidmi Nano P1 Pro super portable vacuum cleaner may be suitable for you, as long as you didn't expect it to do more heavy cleaning jobs. Tubular in shape, the battery-powered Nano P1 Pro laptop has a solid design with a flip-up spout that makes it super convenient for cleaning a keyboard or around baseboards. Rechargeable via USB in just a few hours, it's also surprisingly powerful, especially when its boost absorption mode is activated. There are some drawbacks to their size though, as they only require a very small dust container, while the single nozzle option and slightly awkward cylindrical shape unfortunately make it difficult to use in the tight corners you might expect.

Prices and availability

The Roidmi Nano P1 Pro is already free for € one hundred and nineteen (that's around € one hundred and seventy / AU € two hundred and fifteen when directly transformed). European retailers have a fairly extensive vacuum cleaner availability (Amazon is your best option today), but global markets may need to estimate imports if the Roidmi Nano P1 Pro appeals to you.

Integrated

Can a vacuum cleaner be cute? And should it give you an appetite looking at it? I ask this because the Roidmi Nano P1 Pro is so solid it looks like it could be a companion to R2-D2, while its Pringles-cylinder shape and size gives me a serious case of snacks. Available in black or white (we tested a black model), most of the hand vac is finished in matte black with a glossy black logo wrapped around its edge and a textured stripe around the back for a Better grip on your sound. round. zone. Above the textured area you'll find the USB-C port for charging, and above that is a small LED flashlight that activates when used to illuminate the darkest corners of your home. The vacuum also comes with a lanyard attached, if you want to hang it somewhere, while a coin-sized lock on the bottom releases a small dust filter for cleaning. Around the front is the circular power button, with an led ring that snaps around it to point on/off and battery levels. Press and hold the button to turn it on or off, while another press while in use will activate a more powerful absorption mode.

(Image credit: Future) The top third of the Roidmi Nano P1 Pro is made from a clear transparent plastic, and this is where you'll find the suction nozzle and dust bin. The suction nozzle is cleverly tucked under a hinge that swings out to reveal the brush when raised, drawing the vacuum into a tight spot for cleaning. It's a smart way to protect your head during transport and keep the overall footprint of your device tidy when put away. This transparent section flips to reveal the opening for the trash can, which is held in place by a rubber stopper. This is just a small container, with a 0.1 liter capacity, so don't expect to clean up major mess areas, and keep in mind that the way the container pulls out makes it quite difficult to avoid getting some of the dirt on your fingers. . . It is safe to clean the dust container and filter with water, as long as they are both absolutely dry before being replaced.

And keep in mind that although a USB-C cable is included in the box, you'll need to plug it into your charging socket, with a full charge taking around two hours and thirty minutes.

Performance

Depending on your needs, the Roidmi Nano P1 Pro can be a fairly effective little cleaning tool. Despite its size, it's surprisingly powerful, with its boost mode not far from the performance you'd see with the lowest power settings of a full-size cordless vacuum. It's not going to match a Dyson with a standard power setting, let alone something like the V11 Outsize's perfect full power mode, but it is going to get the job done for quick cleanings, which means you shouldn't underestimate it. Just because of its size.

(Image credit: Future) The biggest (or smallest, depending on your opinion) problem, though, is the size of the container itself; it's a trade-off with the small nature of the design. It will fill up very quickly if you vacuum regularly. More frustrating is the design of the spout: the funnel that the waste is sucked through isn't that big and can easily clog, and larger pieces of soil, like spilled grain, can get clogged. The nozzle design also has an unusual profile, with its deceptively wide head making it difficult to squeeze into tighter corners, plus it's not clear exactly where to aim to estimate the full force of the nozzle.

With its length limited by your reach, don't expect to get into too many high turns without a stepladder, either. As such, it's best used as a speed cloth, for storing a jacket, or for running during kickoffs. Nonetheless, battery power is surprisingly good. You'll get about thirty minutes from a full charge on the standard power setting. And since this should only be used for small cleaning jobs, that's more than enough time to save you the trouble of always searching for the power cord.

Should you get the Roidmi Nano P1 Pro?

Buy it if...

You need a small portable vacuum: The lightweight nature and solid design of the Roidmi Nano P1 Pro make it easy to clean the car or small spills of dried debris. You have a disorganized hobby - or little messes: ... or you are generally a bit disorganized. If you make small messes on a regular basis, or have a past that creates a mess of fine particles on a table, this will be a useful addition to your cleaning arsenal.

Don't buy it if...

You have more essential cleaning jobs to do: Neither the nozzle design nor the tank capacity make the Roidmi Nano P1 Pro suitable for standard vacuuming jobs. Looking to clean up tight spaces: At about the diameter and length of a Pringles can, you won't be able to take it where a slimmer, flatter vacuum can.
