The Revolt RV400 electric bike will launch in India on August 28.

The Rev400 Intellicorp RV400 is one of the most anticipated two-wheelers in a long time. It seems that this expectation is about to end because a definitive release date has been set: August 28.

This final release date comes from Financial Express and the event should also detail details such as price, final range, internal specifications, charging network, and other relevant information that consumers are expecting.

In June, Revolt hosted a small presentation event where the RV400 was unveiled and some of its features were introduced. However, many questions were left unanswered. The all-electric bike was open for pre-ordering, and customers in Delhi and Pune were able to reserve one for INR 1,000 through Amazon India. Some 2.500 people have already expressed interest in EV, which should ship later this year.

So what does the first Indian electric motorcycle with artificial intelligence offer?

Not only is the Revolt RV400 poised to become India's first electric bike, it will also feature related features and services that will put it ahead of the competition. It has a certified range of 156km on a single charge, ARAI (Automobile Research Association of India) certified. It runs on lithium-ion batteries subject to government subsidies that should lower the price of the bike. Since the initial introduction, the GST on electric vehicles has been reduced from 12% to 5%.

The Revolt RV400 has a top speed of 85 km / h in Sport mode. There will also be an Eco mode and a City mode for better range. These settings can be enabled from the app, which also offers options to monitor the batteries and change the sound of the exhaust.

Speaking of batteries, Revolt Motors plans to offer mobile exchange stations where drivers can pick up a new, fully charged battery in minutes. At the same time, the battery can also be disassembled and transported to any normal charging point. The supplied charger requires approximately 4 hours to charge at 15 amps.

In the final presentation, Revolt CEO Rahul Sharma said, "We didn't even reveal 25% of what the RV400 can do!" And concluded the event with a trailer indicating Voice control of the bike.

Even with so little information available around the bike, it is already heralded as one of the most exciting vehicles on Indian roads for the near future.
