Reliance Jio rolls out its Wi-Fi calling services across India. The telecom operator has announced that after its first service trials in recent months, it is now ready for widespread rollout. Jio started activating this service from January 7th and aims to complete the implementation by January 16th. Jio Wi-Fi Calling is supported by more than 150 smartphones, but not yet supported by OnePlus and Realme phones. Furthermore, Jio customers can also make video calls over Wi-Fi. Jio says that thanks to its Wi-Fi calling feature, users will be able to make stable voice and video calls without delay. It works on any Wi-Fi network and also allows you to extend indoor coverage in the event of a dark spot in a home. "At Jio, we are constantly innovating to improve the customer experience or solve their problems. How to enable Jio Wi-Fi calling
Android and iOS smartphone users will need to enable Wi-Fi calling on their respective smartphones in order to initiate voice calls over Wi-Fi. If you are using an Android phone, go to the Settings menu and look for Wi-Fi Calling. You will see a toggle switch in the connection options, enabling you to make calls over Wi-Fi. Apple iPhone users need to go to the Settings menu and tap on Phone. There will be a Wi-Fi calling option in the menu, tapping users who will need to flip the switch to activate this service. Jio's Wi-Fi calling service supports over 150 smartphones and we expect more and more phones to be added to this list in the coming weeks. At the moment, no OnePlus and Realme phones support Wi-Fi calling from Jio.
