Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra release date, price, features and specifications

Xiaomi is celebrating 10 years of creating smartphones by launching a new and improved version of its Mi 10 smartphone earlier this year. This new smartphone is the Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra, and it's even more premium than the Mi 10 Pro, with an improved screen, modified cameras, and much faster charging than its predecessors. Like all Xiaomi Mi smartphones, this new powerhouse was originally announced in China, but that doesn't mean it won't hit the rest of the world at some point, and we'll keep our fingers crossed for a global rollout very soon. For now, that means we don't know the release date or price of the new phone, but we do know all of its specs and features, and we can make an educated guess about what we don't.

Come to the point

Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra launch date and price

We don't know the launch date or price of the Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra outside of China, as the launch event only took place in that country, but when we do, we won't miss it. update. In China, the Mi 10 Ultra is available in four combinations: 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, 8GB/256GB, 12GB/256GB, and 16GB/512GB. Prices range from ¥5,299 to ¥6,999. ¥ – This translates to around €760-1000, €580-770, and AU€1060-1400. The prices are likely not to be exact conversions in these regions, and in fact, we don't expect the Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra to make it to the US, as Xiaomi doesn't sell its phones there. With all the improvements the Ultra has made, we expect it to cost more than the Mi 10 Pro, which in Australia costs AU$1,999 (about £1,290 or £1,030). If it launches in the UK and/or Australia, it will likely arrive before November as we expect the Mi Note 11 to launch around that time.

Design and display

Whatever you can imagine #Mi10Ultra has it, let's take performance to another level! #From10ToInfinity pic.twitter.com/auIbw6RBsi August 11, 2020 From the front, the Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra looks similar to the Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro: it's a large device with a screen that curves around the edges and is broken up by a ``perforated'' cutout at the top. left. It's when you turn the phone over that the differences become apparent. The Mi 10 Ultra has quite the array of rear cameras, which we'll discuss shortly – this one towers over the back of the phone, absolutely screaming 'camera phone'. The phone comes in black, white, and sort of 'transparent gray' colors; the latter is reminiscent of the Mi 8 Pro and allows you to see the internal components of the phone. The phone has a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with 1080 x 2400 resolution, HDR10+, 10-bit color, and 120Hz refresh rate; it looks like the screen of the Mi 10, but with a faster refresh rate.

Camera

Enhance your camera experience with #Mi10Ultra. #From10ToInfinity pic.twitter.com/e6axuchB3VA August 11, 2020 One of the biggest strengths of the Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra seems to be its 120x digital zoom capability, which is more than the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra, which tops out at 100x . This is only 5x optical zoom, though the sensor is pretty high-res for a 48MP zoom camera, so while non-digital zoom may be limited, the high-res sensor could mean snaps still get magnified. you can see it well. The main camera is only 48MP, not 108MP like other Mi 10 phones. It's a bespoke sensor, rather than a Samsung sensor like the 108MP snappers were, Xiaomi probably wants to show off its homemade tech. The 1/1.32-inch sensor's physical size and 2.4-micron pixel size are also big enough for a smartphone camera, so this will likely make up for the lower resolution, though Xiaomi has apparently developed an algorithm that Digitally scale images to 100MP. There are also 20MP ultra-wide angle portrait cameras and 12MP 2x zoom, which we've already seen on some Xiaomi phones. Overall, it looks like the Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra has a similar set of cameras to the Mi 10 Pro, but with improved zoom and that lower-resolution main camera. If you are a fan of video recording, the Mi 10 Ultra takes up to 8K resolution.

We've often complained about the MIUI bloatware issue in our reviews, but hopefully it will be fixed here. The chipset of the phone is the Snapdragon 865 which is not the best available for Android phones as of the launch of the device because for some reason Xiaomi did not go for the Plus version. of this chipset. Your phone has two stereo speakers to enhance sound when watching movies or shows, or playing games. The Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra packs a 4.500mAh battery, and if you want fast charging, this phone should keep you happy: it's the first phone to launch with massive 120W fast charging, using technology Xiaomi announced earlier this year. and the company says it should power the battery from zero to 100% in just 23 minutes. There's also 50W wireless charging, which is even faster than we've seen on any other device and will reportedly fully power the phone in 40 minutes.
