Redmi Watch is the first smartwatch from the brand launched last night with the new Redmi Note 9 series smartphones. With the launch of Redmi Watch, the company continues its foray into the affordable apparel segment. Currently, Redmi Smart Band has a fitness tracker called Redmi Band in the wearable portfolio. The Redmi Watch will join as the second member of the family. Like most Xiaomi products, the Redmi Watch is aggressively priced, making it affordable for most people.

Redmi watch features and specifications
The Redmi Watch offers a 1.4-inch color LCD screen with a resolution of 320 x 320 pixels. It is a touch screen with 2.5D tempered glass on the top of the screen. You also get a button on the side of the watch that can be used to power on/off and also operate the watch. The Redmi Watch is available in three color options: Black, Blue, and White. (Image credit: Mi.com) Furthermore, the Redmi Watch operates Bluetooth 5.0 with support for Android and iOS devices. The watch is very light and weighs only 35 grams and is 10,9mm thick. You also get more than 120 watch faces. The watch can track up to seven sport modes and there's a regular set of fitness features like lower heart rate, sleep monitoring, support monitoring and breathing exercises. On a single charge, the Redmi Watch is expected to last for seven days and charging takes around two hours to power the 230mAh battery. In China, Redmi Watch also benefits from Xiao AI voice assistant and NFC support for payments and use on bus and subway transportation. Onboard sensors include an optical heart rate sensor, a six-axis sensor, a geomagnetic sensor, and an ambient light sensor. The Redmi watch can also control the music played on the phone. Other features include alarm clock, timer, stopwatch, weather, find phone, flashlight, compass, messaging app, call reminder, message reminder, activity reminder, a high heart rate reminder. And finally, the Redmi Band is also 5ATM water resistant.
Redmi Watch price and availability
