Red Dead Redemption 2 PC Looks Even More Likely With Updated Australian Rankings

A PC version of Red Dead Redemption 2 seems even more likely with news breaking claiming that Rockstar has (yet) managed to get the game rated in Australia.

RDR2 has already been rated for console release, of course, by the Australian Classification Board, which approves and determines movie and video game ratings.

The theory is therefore that a new ranking app is ahead of the PC release, which would be an obvious reason for this to happen.

Although Red Dead Redemption 2 was initially denied the rating this time, as reported by Kotaku, this refusal was lifted and the game was once again rated MA15+ (for ages 15+ only) as of September last year.

Blankety Blank

Unfortunately, in the rating details, the game version entry is empty, without any information about the platform this move might apply to.

So obviously we don't know for sure if this is all about preparing a PC version. Rockstar may be about to release a piece of new DLC (speaking of additional content, the most recent rumor we've heard is about the potentially impending nightmare of the Undead).

However, as we recently saw, the proof of a rotation of Red Dead Redemption 2 on PC does not stop adding.

And that includes a ton of data-driven speculation, with various computer configurations and references to DX12 support, as well as a Rockstar social club source code leak mentioning Red Dead Redemption 2 PC achievements.

The recent release of the Rockstar game launcher could also pave the way for a big release like the PC version of RDR2.

Of course, none of this is conclusive, so we'll just have to sit back, wait, and wait, as usual.
