Realme Mobiles today announced the Realme X2 in India alongside the company's "wireless" earphones called the Buds Air. The phone packs the Snapdragon 730G chipset paired with a 64MP quad camera setup, making it one of the most powerful phones in the company's arsenal. Realme Buds Air, on the other hand, have been teased by the company from time to time. These are pretty similar to the Apple AirPods but a bit on the affordable side and are specifically customized for Realme phones. Realme X2 Specifications

Realme X2 has a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution (2340 x 1080 pixels) and a drop-shaped cutout at the top. The screen is covered with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for additional protection against daily wear and tear. The phone has a plastic glass sandwich design with Gorilla Glass 5 on the back and weighs around 180 grams. Realme X2 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G chip with an octa-core processor and Adreno 618 graphics processor. This is paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.1 storage options with a dedicated location to expand storage up to 256GB. The rear quad camera setup consists of a Samsung ISOCELL Bright GW1 64MP main image sensor with f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. At the front is a 32MP selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture. The X2's speakers are tuned by Dolby Atmos and a fingerprint sensor is also hidden under the screen. Realme X2 has a 4000 mAh battery that supports 30W fast charging thanks to the VOOC Flash Charge 4.0 standard. Realme claims that the battery can be charged from 0 to 100% in less than 75 minutes.

Realme X2 Price and availability

Realme X2 starts at Rs 16.999 for the base variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, Rs 18.999 for 6GB RAM + 128GB and Rs 19.999 for the variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The X2 will be offered in three colors: Pearl Green, Blue, and White. The Realme X2 will go on sale starting December 20 at noon on Flipkart and the Realme India store.

(Image credit: Realme) The Realme Buds Air are the company's attempt to make its first "truly wireless" earphones and they look eerily similar to Apple AirPods. The Buds Air is available in three color options – Black, White and Yellow and is priced at Rs 3.999. The wireless headphones have a custom R1 chip and a 12mm driver that has been modified to optimize bass levels. Buds Air support Bluetooth 5.0 and connect almost instantly with Realme phones similar to the pairing method used by AirPods on the iPhone. The Buds Air also supports wireless charging and comes with a case that doubles as a USB Type-C charging unit. Realme headphones are integrated with the Google Assistant and support touch inputs to launch the Assistant and control music and calls. The Realme Buds Air will be on sale from December 17 on Flipkart and Realme India store as part of their "Hate Waiting" sale. The first Buds Air sale is scheduled for December 23 at noon.
