Realme Mobiles unveiled its Realme X Spider-Man edition for India ahead of the launch of Spider-Man: Far From Home on Friday. It's not uncommon for smartphone makers to partner with pop culture icons. This is what we have already seen from companies like OnePlus, Xiaomi and Oppo. Realme is just another addition to this list with its upcoming Realme X set to launch on July 15. Realme X was announced on May 15 during an event in China and Realme CEO Madhav Sheth had hinted that the price would be around €18,000.

Realme X Spider-Man Edition: What's new?

Realme X Spider-Man is coated in red and white, with two different Spider-Man symbols on the lid of the box. Inside the box, we have the Realme X, the VOOC 3.0 adapter, the Spider-Man box, and a sim eject pin.

Realme X packs a 6.5-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ (2340 x 1080 pixels) resolution and is topped by a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The phone uses a contextual selfie camera and its screen has an aspect ratio display of 19.5:9 with 85.9% compared to his body. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset with an octa-core processor and Adreno 616 as the graphics processor. It is associated with different configurations of RAM and storage: 4 GB of RAM + 64 GB, 4 GB + 64 GB or 8 GB + 128 GB. It runs on Android 9.0 based on ColourOS 6 Pie. The phone has a dual camera setup consisting of a 48 MPa main sensor with a 1.7 aperture and a secondary 5 MP depth sensor. The pop-up module contains a 16MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture. Realme X also has a built-in fingerprint sensor and a 3,765mAh battery that supports 20W fast charging with the VOOC 3.0 charging standard. Although we don't know the prices yet, Realme revealed that the Realme X would be the "most affordable premium smartphone", although we take that with a grain of salt.
