Rainbow Six Siege Year 6 Season 1 Crimson Heist live on test server

Ubisoft kicked off Rainbow Six Siege Year Six Season 1 by showing off Operation Crimson Siege and the update is now live on the test server. The new update brings a new Operator called Flores, along with a reworked Frontier map. In addition to these main changes, there are also some test server specific changes that are not guaranteed to be made on the main server. The new update will take around 6 weeks for extensive testing and player feedback before it hits the main servers. New updates and changes coming this year should make the game more balanced and move away from the present, favoring defenders. The test server update weighs in at 19 GB on UPlay and 6 GB on Steam according to this official subreddit.

Operation Crimson Heist: Test Server Details

The new Operator to join the ranks of Team Rainbow is Flores. He is a medium speed, medium armor attack operator whose DIY RCE-Ratero device is literally a bomb on a drone. This constantly moving drone has a timer trigger during which it becomes bulletproof. The Border map is being reworked for Operation Crimson Heist and Ubisoft has changed the ambient sounds on the map that the community has been asking for for a while now. There is a new secondary weapon called the Gonne-6 that can take out bulletproof devices including bulletproof cameras, deployable shields, Maestro's evil eye turrets, castle barricades, etc., but it won't take a single turn. The Match Replay system is introduced sous forme beta and a specific pool of cards is in cours de selection for les nouveaux venus dans le jeu. En plus de cela, certain operators voient leurs charges modifiés tandis que d'autres ont des modifications aportées à leurs capacidades. Mozzie pests will now display a blinking icon to attack drones. While Nøkk's HEL presence reduction is active, it will not activate proximity-based devices until it is running. Blackbeard is nerfed again and Mute gets a slight buff from Signal Disruptor which now disables Claymores and Nomad's Airjabs. Dokkaebi and Finka have their kills replaced with flashbangs and their secondaries replaced with Gonne-6 and Twitch's stuns replaced with smoke grenades. Kali also gets a slight damage buff with her CSRX 300 rifle. In addition to these, there are other changes including disable priority, Streamer mode, and new voice actors for IQ and Capitão.
